The DataSource 6.0 Release encompasses two new features that are available now for CNET Content Solutions’ customers: DataSource Cloud & Catalog Expansion into Office Products.

DataSource Cloud

We are pleased to officially announce CNET Content Solutions’ new platform for real-time on demand content delivery – DataSource Cloud.

DataSource Cloud speeds up and simplifies integration of product page content:

Product description, marketing text, key selling points, main and extended specifications, what’s in the box, product PDFs.

Image gallery with zooming support high-resolution multi-angle images (up to 2400×1800 pixels).

In addition there is seamless integration between DataSource Cloud and ContentCast. ContentCast delivers rich product information from participating manufacturers
including formatted product pages with additional images, videos, interactive logos, visual product features, and PDFs.

DataSource Cloud is easy to implement.

• Set up an account in our Client Portal.
• Select the content elements you want to publish on your Product Page.
• Designate where on the Product Page you want each content element to be displayed and preview the result.
• Add a small block of JavaScript code to your Product Page, and the content is dynamically served in real-time!

DataSource Cloud does not fully replace data feeds, but rather complements them. Data related to Product Page display will be dynamically served, while
data related to search and navigation (e.g. categorization or parametric search attributes) are available via data feeds (Download.zip).
