Getting Started Checklist

If you are the first user to access this account, or were assigned to the highest administration access right (Admin SalesRep – Buyer), you will be able to configure your account instance settings. As an administrator you will access these areas by going to the left Control Panel Here are a few things that need to be in place to start conducting business through ChannelOnline.
- Supplier Information. Supplier e-commerce credentials are necessary to enable supplier feeds into your instance to build your catalog.

- Tax Profile. This allows you to setup how tax calculations are done for the States/Provinces which your company does business in.
- Learn more at Tax Profiles.
- Price Profile(s). Price Profiles and Tiers allow you to manage different pricing schemes, or sets of rules, for your customers.

- Payment Options. Payment options determine how customers can pay for products and services (credit cards, P.O. numbers, credit limits, leasing, and etc.).

- Delivery Methods. Configure which shipping options will be available throughout ChannelOnilne for accounts, documents and storesites.

- Document Template. Customize your document template to match your logo, brand colors and marketing messaging and legal disclaimers (Ts&Cs).

- Document Settings. For things like, reminders, expiration dates, renewal dates, auto-generated documents, stages and probability defaults.

- Personnel. Setup your companies users: Administrators, Representatives, Sales Groups (teams), Purchasers (buyers) and non-user Employees.

- StoreSite. When you activated your ChannelOnline account you made some store setup selections, these should be updated to reflect how your company is viewed be store visitors.
